A ChangeMaker Recounts His Most Memorable Experience
“How I felt at the end of the course is precisely what I was looking for in the beginning.” Wilson KP Lee, acemytermpaper.com
The Institute B ChangeMaker course was without doubt one of the most inspirational yet hands on experience that I’ve ever been a part of. My most empowering moment came during the drawing exercise when you introduced the two ends of the spectrum, being “unaware” and being “the ChangeMaker”, and asked us where we thought we were at.
This image above is what I drew.
The stick figure, David, is perfectly happy, for he is oblivious of the threats and potential opportunity that he is missing out on. That’s why kids are always happy, for they are unaware. Once David is aware, he becomes stressful, knowing so much, yet doing so little to change the situation. This is the majority of the population out there.
My company and I are aware of our potential and are working towards growing and getting equipped, arming our selves for success. One day, we will become the ChangeMaker, the Superman. There is a Superman living in every single of us. It is whether we choose to acknowledge and realize the potential of our powers.
Thank you Bix, Darrell, and Manfred for sharing with us your wisdom.
